The Plains Place is located in Springfield, South Dakota in the middle of Sportsman’s Paradise. Along the Missouri River on Lewis and Clark Lake, some of the best bass and walleye fishing can be found here. For the hunting enthusiast, there is plentiful wildlife in the area including deer, pheasant, ducks, geese and turkey. The Springfield Golf Course is a 9-hole public course located 1/4 mile away from The Plains Place, atop the bluffs.
The Plains Place offers you a private and peaceful stay whether you are a sportsman or just wanting a place to get away with your family. It is a comfortable open floor plan conveniently located to the town’s Main Street where you can find restaurants, a grocery store, a convenience store and a hardware store. Lukes Repair offers hunting and fishing licenses if you do not already have one.
